Fire Fighting &Prevention Units

This self-contained slip-on unit consists a full slip-on body capsule containing a tank, pump, hose reel, hose and nozzle which has proven to be one of the most efficient and economical tools fire fighters have. Completely assembled, it can be mounted or removed from a vehicle, in a mat-ter of just minutes with no special tools, thereby freeing your vehicle for other service during the balance of the year when fire might not be a serious consideration.

These fire protection units are equipped with the BB-4 pump have a perform-ance range, which provides true versatility during field use. High-pressure 425 psi (2930 kPa) capability to operate booster lines or deliver water through long hose lays in rugged terrain. Higher gallonage flow 95 US gals/mm (79 IMP gals, 360 L) is available for multiple hose lays with medium pressures, such as are used during rural and forest fire fighting or with prescribed burning.

The following NFPA recommendations under NFPA 1906, 1907, 1908 regarding the use of a slip-on unit suggested.
Also recommended is following any published Department of Transportation installation guideline specifications and recommenda-tions regarding the installation of a slip-on unit on a vehicle in regards to recommended vehicle GVW capacity.
